IT solution concept
We work out what the system actually has to do and turn it into requirements that both the business and the developers can work from.
Details›
The most expensive mistake in an IT project happens before the first line of code: the system gets built for a problem nobody properly defined. So we start by talking to the people who'll use it — accounting, the warehouse, sales managers — not just the person signing off. Sometimes our conclusion is to build nothing and configure an existing product instead. That counts as a result too.
What's included
- interviews with staff and a walkthrough of current processes
- business requirements and user scenarios
- a comparison of ready-made products against custom development
- a specification with time and budget estimates per phase
Outcome: A document any team, ours or someone else's, can estimate from and start building.
